Position Overview:

NVE Pharmaceuticals is seeking dedicated Aquaculture Operations Specialists to support our innovative aquaculture facility. We focus on the breeding and cultivation of diverse warm-water fish species and live food organisms in a cutting-edge environment.
Facility Details:

Our current facility spans over 20,000 square feet, dedicated to hatchery and grow-out operations. We are in the process of finalizing a state-of-the-art hatchery and research center, which will enhance our capabilities and research potential. Additionally, we are expanding with a new facility that will significantly increase our operational capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily operations and maintenance tasks within the aquaculture facility.
  • Perform water quality testing and ensure optimal conditions for fish health.
  • Handle and grade fish, ensuring proper care and management.
  • Maintain aquaculture systems and equipment, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
  • Collect and analyze data related to fish growth and facility operations.
  • Participate in harvesting activities as required.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in aquaculture or tropical fish management is essential.
  • Ability to swim is required.
  • Self-motivated and reliable individual.
  • Access to dependable transportation.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when necessary.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a warm and humid environment.
