Job Title: Visual Inspection Specialist

At Straumann, we are committed to delivering innovation based on evidence. As a Visual Inspection Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our products, working closely with our Machine Operators to produce a quality product.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect parts 100% as they are produced to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Deburr parts as they come off machines to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Work with Machine Operators to adjust the machine as needed to optimize production.
  • Follow procedures and complete documentation as needed to ensure compliance.
  • Work in a manufacturing environment where there may be exposure to hazards associated with equipment and tools.
Requirements:
  • Manual dexterity and ability to manipulate small objects.
  • Ability to inspect and work using a microscope for 8 hours.
  • Excellent eyesight and visual acuity.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years inspection or deburring of small precision parts.
  • 1+ years working with a microscope.
  • Experience working in the medical device industry.
