Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at Jefferson Medical Center. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for providing anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Administer anesthesia to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement anesthesia plans, taking into account patients' medical histories and surgical procedures.
  • Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations, including reviewing patients' medical records and conducting physical examinations.
  • Manage anesthesia equipment and supplies, ensuring proper functioning and maintenance.
  • Document patient care and anesthesia administration in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of West Virginia.
  • Board certification or recertification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound judgments in high-pressure situations.
