Assistant Chief CRNA

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CRNA to join our team as an Assistant Chief CRNA. This role will provide clinical and administrative leadership to our CRNA department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and the effective management of departmental operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to CRNA staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Assist the Chief CRNA in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
- Manage and evaluate the performance of CRNA staff, providing coaching and development opportunities as needed.
- Collaborate with the Chief CRNA to assess and address departmental needs, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
- Provide administrative support to the Chief CRNA, including scheduling, budgeting, and personnel management.
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in West Virginia.
- Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in West Virginia.
- Current certification with National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
- Active membership in American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Two (2) years of clinical experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Three (3) years of administrative experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Three (3) years of experience in a leadership role.
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
- Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
