We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at Jefferson Medical Center. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:- Administer anesthesia to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or complications that may arise during the procedure.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans for each patient, taking into account their medical history, current health status, and surgical requirements.
- Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations, including reviewing medical history, performing physical examinations, and ordering laboratory tests as necessary.
- Administer medications and fluids as needed, ensuring accurate dosing and monitoring of patient responses.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including anesthesia plans, medication administration, and patient responses.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest anesthesia techniques, technologies, and best practices.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of West Virginia or applicable state.
- Board certification or recertification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CRNA, with a strong track record of providing high-quality patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
