Donohoe Construction Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Clerk to join our team. As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a positive experience for our clients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Check guests in and out of the hotel according to company standards.
  • Inform guests about the hotel's facilities, policies, and procedures.
  • Handle hotel phone system and transfer calls to appropriate departments or guests.
  • Take, modify, and cancel guestroom reservations.
  • Deal with inquiries, requests, and complaints from guests and coordinate with other departments to fulfill special requests.
  • Perform cashier duties and post phone charges and other miscellaneous charges to guest accounts.
  • Notify housekeeping and maintenance of any reported problems with guestrooms or grounds.
  • Follow in-house procedures to ensure the security of guests and employees.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the Front Office area.

**Additional Requirements:**

  • The hotel operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands.
  • Employees are required to adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the company.
