Job Summary

Bank OZK is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Officer to join our team. As a Business Development Officer - Community Association Services, you will be responsible for developing and retaining business within the Community Association industry in assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and complete calls on existing clients and prospects to develop new business and maintain existing relationships.
  • Prepare and present account analysis reviews and Association Services presentations, as appropriate.
  • Meet with client managers/branches and other business partners to review key relationships and explore new prospects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all key clients.
  • Meet with clients through personal calling efforts, referrals, and other contacts to discuss business needs and recommend ways in which the Bank can meet their needs.
  • Maintain awareness of local competition and market pricing for Association Services.
  • Share knowledge as a subject matter expert and mentor others on the team.
  • Review new product and product enhancement information with internal business partners, as appropriate.
  • Maintain awareness of trends and new developments in the field of association services management through attendance at trade shows and related seminars.
  • Assess clients business strengths, weaknesses, and key issues to develop sales strategies and plans and recommend new products and services necessary to meet client demands.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and mitigate operational, regulatory, credit, and reputational risk.
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of clients businesses and their specific needs.
  • Regularly exercise discretion and judgment in the performance of essential job functions.
  • Maintain good attendance and punctuality to work.
  • Follow Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in business or related field, or commensurate work experience, required.
  • 3+ years business development experience, required.
  • 1+ years of work experience in community association products, required.
Working Conditions

Operate customary equipment and technology used in a business environment, with or without accommodation.
