We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Field Trainer to join our team at Rentokil Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive training and support to new pest control specialists, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
Key Responsibilities- Field Training: Conduct on-the-job training with new hires during their first 6 weeks, ensuring completion of weekly Field Training Checklists.
- Peer Support: Provide weekly check-ins and monthly meet-ups with new hires during their first year, completing associated documentation for records.
- Training Certification: Successfully complete the Rentokil NA Field Training Certification Program (with biannual recertification).
- Training and Development: Conduct ride-alongs for job candidates during the interview process, arrive on time and prepared for training, effectively train skills and provide ample feedback in a timely manner, and communicate with Trainee's Manager.
- Peer Support and Development: Develop solid working relationships with trainees, be available by phone or text to answer questions, help shape expectations, and facilitate a successful transition from trainee to productive employee.
- Standard Compensation: Receive standard compensation rate for Field Training days.
- Retention Bonus: Eligible for retention bonus for Peer Support (designated as Primary Peer Support, with trainee retained for 1 year + 1 day).
- Professional Development: Develop training, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience: At least 1 year with Rentokil North America as a Pest Specialist.
- Training and Certification: Fully-trained according to Rentokil NA Career Advancement Program (Career Level 4 or 5), licensed with appropriate state/province applicator license & categories, and favorable ratings from the most recent Annual Performance Review.
- Professional Conduct: Conducts himself/herself in a professional manner.
