Key Responsibilities
  • Field Training: Conduct on-the-job training with new hires during their first 6 weeks, ensuring completion of weekly Field Training Checklists.
  • Peer Support: Provide weekly check-ins and monthly meet-ups with new hires during their first year, completing associated documentation for records.
  • Training Certification: Successfully complete the Rentokil NA Field Training Certification Program (with biannual recertification).
Additional Job Duties
  • Training and Development: Conduct ride-alongs for job candidates during the interview process, arrive on time and prepared for training, effectively train skills and provide ample feedback in a timely manner, and communicate with Trainee's Manager.
  • Peer Support and Development: Develop solid working relationships with trainees, be available by phone or text to answer questions, help shape expectations, and facilitate a successful transition from trainee to productive employee.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Standard Compensation: Receive standard compensation rate for Field Training days.
  • Retention Bonus: Eligible for retention bonus for Peer Support (designated as Primary Peer Support, with trainee retained for 1 year + 1 day).
  • Professional Development: Develop training, communication, and leadership skills.
Qualifications
  • Experience: At least 1 year with Rentokil North America as a Pest Specialist.
  • Training and Certification: Fully-trained according to Rentokil NA Career Advancement Program (Career Level 4 or 5), licensed with appropriate state/province applicator license & categories, and favorable ratings from the most recent Annual Performance Review.
  • Professional Conduct: Conducts himself/herself in a professional manner.
