About the Role

The Center for Nonprofit Management is seeking a skilled Foster Parent Trainer/Recruiter to join our team. As a Foster Parent Trainer/Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in finding capable foster parents for our children in need of placement and then providing them with the training and support to be successful.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a recruiting strategy for seeking out potential foster parents
  • Partner with the community by attending events and building a network of people who share in our desire to help children in need
  • Facilitate training sessions on weeknights and weekends
  • Conduct home studies
  • Assist with the certification process and ensure compliance standards
  • Work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, and travel across surrounding counties

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a social services field, such as social work, counseling, or psychology
  • Experience in marketing, recruiting, or community outreach, preferably in the child welfare field
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and written skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Basic computer knowledge and a valid driver's license with liability insurance
