Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Field Trainer to join our team at Rentokil North America. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in training and developing our new pest specialists, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-the-job training with new hires during their first 6 weeks, focusing on field training and ensuring completion of weekly checklists.
  • Provide peer support to new pest specialists, conducting weekly check-ins and monthly meet-ups, and completing associated documentation for records.
  • Successfully complete the Rentokil NA Field Training Certification Program and maintain biannual recertification.

Additional Job Duties:

As a Certified Field Trainer, you will:

  • Conduct ride-alongs for job candidates during the interview process.
  • Arrive on time and prepared for training sessions.
  • Effectively train skills and provide timely feedback to new hires.
  • Communicate regularly with trainees' managers and complete weekly evaluations and progress sign-offs for field training checklists.

As a Peer Support, you will:

  • Develop a solid working relationship with trainees.
  • Be available by phone or text to answer questions and provide support.
  • Help shape expectations for trainees as they progress through training and onboarding.
  • Assist in their transition from trainee to productive employee.
  • Communicate any concerns or issues to trainees' managers.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • At least 1 year of experience with Rentokil North America as a pest specialist.
  • Fully trained according to the Rentokil NA Career Advancement Program (Career Level 4 or 5).
  • Licensed with the appropriate state or province applicator license and categories.
  • Favorable ratings from your most recent annual performance review.
  • A professional demeanor and conduct.
