Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Rehabilitation Hospital. As a Rehabilitation Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and reassess patients to identify their individual needs and develop a plan of care that addresses their unique requirements.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote patient recovery and independence.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to ensure a smooth transition to home or other care settings.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and hospital performance.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program.
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.
  • CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.
  • IV Certified required or obtained within 6 months highly preferred.
  • Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
