Requirements for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
- Must have a valid LPN license in the state where the clinician will practice
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to provide one-on-one patient care in a home environment
Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
- Execute physicians' prescribed plans of care and document care provided in the system of record
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
- Patient assessments and coordination of care
- Health promotion, teaching, and training of family members
