POSITION OVERVIEW:

  • The Learning & Development Coordinator is tasked with the effective execution of the Training Program at the designated site.
  • This role aids in identifying educational solutions that align with rigorous performance and quality benchmarks.
  • The Coordinator is responsible for instructing fellow team members and evaluating their competency in executing tasks effectively.
  • Training may occur in operational areas that necessitate the use of safety and protective gear.

ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Comprehension of GMP production settings, processes, and control standards is essential.
  • Intermediate proficiency in the design, development, and execution of training programs, utilizing the ADDIE instructional design framework.
  • Extensive experience in delivering and evaluating training initiatives.
  • Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills are required.
  • Ability to convey information clearly to enhance effective learning.
  • This role involves public speaking in training environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration with trainees, colleagues, and subject-matter experts.
  • Capability to operate in a sterile environment, necessitating successful completion of a qualification program.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Education, or a B.S. in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or 3-5 years of pertinent experience in a GMP production setting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitates training programs that fulfill regulatory standards and business requirements.
  • Offers training expertise and guidance in alignment with the site’s training model and procedures.
  • Collaborates with Learning & Development and functional Subject Matter Experts to formulate a training and development strategy that meets production needs, ensuring new hires become proficient operators in a timely manner.
  • Engages with management continuously to establish training objectives and achieve key performance indicators.
  • Conducts Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and On-the-Job Training (OJT) sessions to meet functional unit training needs.
  • Provides constructive feedback to trainees to confirm the acquisition of skills and knowledge, while identifying any gaps that necessitate further training.
  • Gathers feedback from trainees to assess the relevance of course content and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
