Job Title: Resident Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead construction management responsibilities for assigned projects, including inspection, documentation, and problem-solving.
  • Manage a team of Field Engineers, Inspectors, and other construction management staff to ensure project schedule and budget adherence.
  • Evaluate potential change orders, prepare time and material documentation, and facilitate progress meetings with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Perform contract specification and drawing research, and verify quality control tests and inspection records.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of construction and engineering experience, with a focus on field management, inspection, testing, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, computer software tools, and experience with eBuilder, Bluebeam, and HCSS.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
