Job Summary

The District Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the sales and operations team within the District to achieve top line growth, EBITDA performance, and operational excellence. The incumbent will execute on plans and strategies designed to meet and exceed customer needs, with full P&L responsibility for their branches/territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe working environment by following Red-D-Arc's health and safety guidelines.
  • Manage and coach the sales force, including Inside Sales support, in the development of the business plan to achieve or exceed budgeted sales numbers.
  • Manage and coach the Operations team to optimize profit margins through execution of plans and strategies.
  • Review monthly P&L reports and update the RVP regarding substantial variances on Actual versus Budgeted revenue and expenses.
  • Collaborate and direct the National Account manager on opportunities within the district.

Requirements

  • Three to five years of sales or sales management experience in a business-to-business sales environment, a Branch or Plant leadership role, or comparable experience within the distribution industry.
  • Greater than five years working in welding or related industry.
  • Outside sales experience in either an industrial equipment rental or a welding equipment sales or rental environment.
