Position Overview:
We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join our finance department at One United USA.

Role Focus:
This role will initially emphasize general ledger operations, account reconciliations, and financial reporting tasks. These responsibilities are crucial for delivering timely and precise financial information to management at all levels, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, policies, and external reporting obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that transactions from various departments are accurately recorded in the general ledger in accordance with the organization's accounting policies.
- Conduct daily comparisons of entries and balances from statements to general ledger records, identifying and researching discrepancies.
- Monitor outstanding items, resolve ATM discrepancies, and collaborate with operational teams to maintain necessary reports.
- Participate in the month-end closing process and assist in complex accounting research and reporting.
- Prepare financial data for regulatory reports, annual budgets, and long-term financial strategies.
- Develop and maintain financial models for different business units, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data for financial analysis and prepare ad-hoc reports as needed.
- Perform various clerical duties and special projects, including the development of reports and intricate Excel spreadsheets.
- Mentor and guide FP&A team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Drive enhancements in financial processes and reporting capabilities to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
- A solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles, with five to seven years of experience in corporate accounting or three to five years in financial planning and analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Demonstrated expertise in reconciliation, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and equitable work practices.
