Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Assistant to join our team at Brio Living Services. As a key member of our care team, you will provide essential daily living care to older adults, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care and Hygiene: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring their personal care needs are met.
  • Housekeeping and Laundry: Perform laundry, change bed linens, and tidy resident rooms, maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Meal Service and Nutrition: Provide meal service in accordance with required diets, ensuring residents receive nutritious and appealing meals.
  • Transportation and Mobility: Safely transport residents to appointments and activities, and assist with lifting, turning, and positioning residents as needed.
  • Communication and Socialization: Build positive relationships with residents, family members, and team members, facilitating social interactions and activities.
Requirements
  • Experience and Skills: Previous experience in a direct caregiving role is preferred, but not required. Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs is essential.
  • Education and Training: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Completion of facility-designated medication assistance training is required.
