Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Integration Specialist to join our team at Paradigm Information Services, Inc. as a Legacy Software Migration Expert and Enterprise Software Consultant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex legacy software systems to restore their functionality and ensure seamless integration with new systems.
  • Review and understand the intricacies of homegrown applications interfacing with BarTender software, identifying compatibility issues and developing solutions to resolve them.
  • Collaborate with our client's IT and HR departments to gather business requirements and ensure smooth operations, providing clear documentation of the current system, including codebase and integration points with BarTender.
  • Recommend and implement a long-term solution to stabilize and optimize the new BarTender system, ensuring it supports future scalability and operational needs.
  • Work closely with the IT Manager to ensure the system meets the client's business objectives and operational requirements.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in C# and.NET, with a strong understanding of SQL Server databases and query optimization.
  • Experience with BarTender or similar barcode/labeling software, as well as legacy.NET frameworks and their modernization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with complex software systems, troubleshoot integration issues, and resolve problems in systems with limited licenses and software upgrades.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work with minimal documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, logistics, or similar industries is beneficial.
