Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Service and Install Fitter Technician to join our team at Performance Systems Integration LLC.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading company in the Fire & Life Safety industry, serving customers throughout Washington, Oregon, Northern California, and Idaho.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, inspect, service, and/or repair wet-pipe, dry-pipe, and pre-action fire sprinkler systems
  • Perform periodic inspections per National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 25 standards - internal piping inspections, obstruction investigations, flow tests, and hydro tests
  • Provide accurate documentation through the use of Service Trade and state/local documentation as required
  • Record and document all inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations
  • Maintain a good positive relationship with the customer and pass on information to the appropriate personnel for follow-up, quotes, questions, or concerns
Requirements
  • 2-3 years' experience as a Fire Sprinkler Fitter
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • WA Journeyman Fitters License, required
  • ITT Certificate of Competency (Washington State Certification), required
  • NICET II Water Based Systems certification, desirable, but not required
  • Certificate of Fitness (COF) (Fire Sprinklers) desirable, but not required
  • Oregon Backflow Assembly Tester Certification, desirable, but not required
  • Washington Backflow Assembly Tester Certification, desirable, but not required
  • Working knowledge of current codes and standards of fire sprinkler systems
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • This position may require occasional overnight work, emergency work and working on call
Working Conditions
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Frequently lift and carry toolboxes, tools, equipment, parts, cabling, and/or wiring
  • Must be able to push or pull up to 50 pounds
