Process Engineer III Job Description

Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU) is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer III to join our team at our Melbourne Headquarters or Miramar Ops Center location. As a Process Engineer III, you will play a critical role in driving process improvement efforts across the organization, leveraging Six Sigma/LEAN methodology and Business Process Modeling to analyze and optimize business processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute end-to-end process improvement efforts by conducting current state process analysis, building future state vision, and formulating actionable improvement opportunities.
  • Integrate effective change management and training techniques to drive enhanced standardization and alignment across SCCU.
  • Analyze and interpret data using statistical techniques to support re-engineering objectives.
  • Design and build future state processes and tools to enable scalable and flexible operations.
  • Utilize key Lean Six Sigma and Operational Excellence principles to identify opportunities, define and justify projects, launch project teams, manage team activities, track project status, measure results, remove project barriers, and develop/train team members.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in a Business or Technical discipline and Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt (DMAIC, DFSS or equivalent) required.
  • 8-10 years of Process Engineering experience required, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) software.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, and Excel.
