Es responsable de la preparación del equipo y de la sala, asegurando el mantenimiento de la técnica estéril y la correcta posición del paciente bajo la supervisión de la enfermera registrada. Además, bajo la dirección del profesional, mantiene las salas de examen y el área de oficina, interactúa con los pacientes, obtiene la historia clínica y realiza pruebas según lo indicado.
Requisitos Mínimos del Puesto
- Graduado de un programa acreditado de Técnico Quirúrgico.
- Certificación actual como Técnico Quirúrgico o la obtención de la certificación dentro del primer año de empleo.
- Certificación en RCP o la obligación de obtenerla en la próxima clase disponible tras la contratación.
- Un año de experiencia en un entorno hospitalario o de atención médica relacionada, incluyendo experiencia educativa clínica.
- Capacidad para leer, escribir y seguir instrucciones.
- Excelentes habilidades de comunicación para interactuar de manera efectiva y cortés con pacientes, familias, compañeros de trabajo, gerentes, proveedores y otros profesionales del hospital.
- Habilidades interpersonales necesarias para llevar a cabo las funciones de manera profesional, así como la capacidad de trabajar bien bajo presión.
- Desarrolladas habilidades informáticas y la capacidad de aprender y realizar de manera competente aplicaciones de atención al paciente, registro electrónico, correo electrónico y otras aplicaciones estándar relacionadas con las operaciones del departamento y la función laboral.
- Excelentes habilidades de servicio al cliente con un énfasis especial en la atención centrada en el paciente.
- Capacidad para promover un ambiente de compasión y terapéutico.
- Conocimiento básico de los principios de control de infecciones para prevenir la propagación de infecciones a pacientes, a sí mismo y a otros.
- Capacidad para reaccionar adecuadamente ante cualquier entorno o situación.
- Capacidad para gestionar varias tareas simultáneamente y priorizar adecuadamente según la carga de trabajo y las necesidades del paciente.
- Capacidad para ser discreto y proteger la integridad de cualquier asunto o información confidencial encontrada durante el desempeño de las funciones laborales.
- Entorno clínico típico de hospital con frecuentes períodos de pie y caminata.
- Trabajo sujeto a interrupciones.
- Riesgo de exposición ocupacional a sangre y otros peligros infecciosos, eléctricos y de radiación.
- Trabajo con información de salud protegida.
- Capacidad para trabajar en cualquier turno, horas extendidas ocasionales, días festivos y/o fines de semana según las necesidades del departamento.
- Disponibilidad para estar de guardia a solicitud del cirujano.
- De pie, caminando, agachándose, doblándose, levantando, empujando y tirando para proporcionar atención al paciente y utilizar dispositivos de atención al paciente necesarios para realizar las funciones de manera segura.
- Uso de computadoras y otros equipos de oficina estándar.
- Uso de herramientas y equipos de atención al paciente en relación con el área de especialidad clínica.
