This role will be responsible for providing direct support to the Facility Security Officer, VPs, Program Managers, and other departments.
Key Responsibilities- Facility Security Support: Provide support to the Facility Security Officer, including maintaining security policies and procedures, and conducting annual self-inspections as required by the NISP.
- Personnel Security: Assist with the development, implementation, and monitoring of personnel security programs, including the insider threat program, and provide support to the Personnel Security Program.
- Visitor Control: Perform basic visitor control functions, including visitor log maintenance, badge issuance, and visitor requests, as well as entry/exit inspections.
- Classified Meetings: Provide support to classified meetings, including clearing rooms, obtaining GCA approval, validating VARs and access, providing security briefings, and monitoring adjacent spaces during meetings.
- IT Support: Assist with basic IT support and troubleshooting, including password resets, printer configurations, break/fix instructions, ticket routing, and escalation to Level 2 and Level 3 support.
- Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.
- Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance.
- Education: High School Diploma.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience working in personnel security.
- 2+ years of experience with DISS, NISS, SIMS, NBIS, SWFT, and ACCS.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- TS/SCI preferred.
- Up to 5% Travel.
- Apogee Corporation offers two medical plans, a high deductible health plan with an HRA and a traditional POS plan with co-pays, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, parental, military, and jury duty paid leaves.
- This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
- The base pay for this position is $24.04 across the U.S. There is also a different range applicable for specific work locations.
