Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Manager of Curriculum to lead the development of high-quality instructional content for our beauty industry division. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of curriculum design, instructional leadership, and team management.

Responsibilities
  • Design and lead all aspects of curriculum development, ensuring alignment with industry trends, state standards, and licensure requirements.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of content managers and subject matter experts in curriculum design, instructional planning, and content development.
  • Establish and maintain high standards for instructional quality, including pedagogy, content accuracy, relevance, and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with industry experts, educators, and licensing boards to ensure curriculum meets professional and educational standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Education, Curriculum Development, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in curriculum design, instructional leadership, or content development, ideally in Ed Tech, adult education, or the beauty/wellness industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in instructional design and adult learning principles.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a consistent record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to prioritize, organize, and be responsible for complex projects.
Benefits

Cengage Group offers a competitive salary range of $101,900.00 - $163,000.00 USD, depending on qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
