IRA Representative

The Dupaco Community Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled IRA Representative to join our team. As an IRA Representative, you will be responsible for opening and maintaining IRAs and HSAs for members, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Identify opportunities to increase member satisfaction and account usage through effective communication and product knowledge.
• Provide expert guidance on IRA and HSA laws, regulations, and procedures to members and staff.
• Process transactions and requests within service level standards with minimal errors.
• Assist members with IRA and HSA transactions, including contributions, investment changes, withdrawals, conversions, and mistaken distributions.
• Process incoming daily transfers and rollover funds.
• Service as a contact for members, other institutions, and staff when processing transfers out to other financial institutions.
• Set up and maintain annual IRA Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs).
• Continuously develop professional skills through online courses and staff development trainings.
• Maintain high member satisfaction levels through regular touchpoint surveys.
• Review and manage IRA/HSA reports to ensure proper IRS reporting.
• Support DFS and branch personnel with IRA questions and documentation.
• Assist in keeping organization resources and internal team procedures updated as necessary.

• A high school diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to represent the financial institution in a positive and professional manner.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an aptitude for learning new technologies.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• 2 years of banking experience and/or 1-year IRA experience.
