About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fitness Center Monitor to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As a Fitness Center Monitor, you will be the first point of contact for patrons in our state-of-the-art fitness center, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patrons in the fitness center and answer phone calls in a professional and helpful manner.
- Check patrons into the fitness center system and select the correct class if the patron is taking a Lifetime Fitness Class.
- Clean and maintain the fitness center, including wiping down equipment, washing and drying towels, and emptying trash cans.
- Provide prospective center guests with tours of the facility and answer questions about our services and amenities.
- Maintain and update guest account information and work to ensure guests have a safe and enjoyable experience.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role or in a fitness-related field is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional customer service.
