Job Summary

The Monitor Technician is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for setting up and continuously monitoring telemetry equipment for patients at our centralized station.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up telemetry equipment for new admissions according to established procedures.
  • Interpret and document rhythm strips at regular intervals.
  • Report any cardiac arrhythmias or rhythm changes to the primary nurse.
  • Report changes in pulse oximetry data to the primary nurse.
  • Assist in maintaining telemetry supplies.
Requirements
  • Applicant must successfully complete the monitor technician credentialing process within the first three weeks of employment.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
