Primary Duties (80%):

  • Serve as the Technical Lead for designated projects, including:

- Deployment and migration of Microsoft Servers.

- Implementation of Active Directory and migrations to Azure AD.

- Migration of Azure Files.

- Configuration of local server and SaaS backup solutions.

- Installation and setup of network switches and firewalls.

- Migration of on-premises servers to cloud environments.

- Implementation of managed services.

  • Maintain a strong focus on project deliverables, ensuring effective communication and documentation throughout.
  • Oversee task management to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist Solutions Architects and Engineers in developing solutions and project scopes.
  • Keep precise and comprehensive records of activities in the Professional Services Automation (PSA) system.

Administrative Duties (10%):

  • Update ticket and task information, ensuring accurate time tracking.
  • Document project activities to provide essential information for support and troubleshooting.

Professional Development (10%):

  • Establish a continuous personal development plan in technology and leadership, reviewed quarterly.
  • Document and track learning progress on a monthly basis.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient understanding of TCP/IP and Windows networking.
  • Experience in configuring and administering Windows and Azure Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems (7, 8, 10, and 11).
  • Experience with Microsoft Server versions (2012, 2016, 2019, and 2022).
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Availability to work standard hours with occasional evening and weekend commitments.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • CompTIA Net+ or similar certifications.
  • Microsoft Certified Professional status.
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Azure Files, and SharePoint migrations.
  • Experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network firewalls and switches.
