Position: Logistics and Production Support Specialist


Job Overview


Summary: Hera Technologies, LLC is in search of a dedicated Logistics and Production Support Specialist to enhance our team within a dynamic and collaborative setting. This role entails overseeing various projects of differing complexities throughout the entire project lifecycle, from raw materials to final shipping. The individual will serve as the primary link for production-related communications between the operational floor and management, addressing scheduling, inventory, and quality concerns. This position demands full accountability for activities executed by diverse, cross-functional teams.


Classification: Nonexempt Hourly

Employment Type: Full-time

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm; occasional weekend work may be required. Hours may be adjusted based on management discretion.

Compensation Range: $17.00 to $20.00 USD based on experience.

Reports to: Production Lead


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain organized, labeled inventory and track levels, including perishable items, with available resources to support this effort.
  • Ensure departmental cleanliness standards are upheld, with audits conducted as deemed necessary by management.
  • Delegate daily tasks within the production department, including personal responsibilities.
  • Achieve shipping targets as established by the Production Manager.
  • Assist in coordinating daily production flow, including scheduling, planning, and executing jobs based on customer requirements.
  • Provide accurate daily updates on production status, schedules, and necessary corrections to resolve issues.
  • Utilize electronic communication tools effectively to convey departmental metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with traveler documentation on a daily basis.
  • Support the Production Manager and Director of Operations in developing and assessing key performance indicators related to safety, quality, timely delivery, and efficiency.
  • Manage and utilize relevant JobBoss modules pertinent to your responsibilities.
  • Guide shop floor personnel to meet organizational objectives.
  • Assist on the shop floor as needed, including part fabrication or other support tasks.
  • Engage actively in the planning and execution of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote adherence to 5-S principles and comply with health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
  • Verify that all tasks are completed accurately throughout the process related to your function, taking corrective actions as necessary.
  • Act as an ambassador for Hera's vision, fostering a culture of discipline and excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing production control within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Capability to prioritize and adapt to project changes.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in PC applications - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project.
  • Effective communication skills in both oral and written English.
  • Willingness to learn and perform cross-functional operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with JobBoss ERP software is advantageous.
  • Experience in production and inventory control (including expediting and material handling) is a plus.

  • The role involves standing for extended periods and adhering to strict safety protocols. Safety glasses, hearing protection, and hard-toed footwear are required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs safely.
  • Capability to navigate the warehouse and utilize hands and arms for reaching and handling items at various heights.
  • Ability to sit, stand, stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed.
  • Regular communication and auditory engagement are essential.
  • Vision requirements include near and distant vision, color recognition, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
