Compelling Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Medical Specialist to conduct thorough assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

In this role, you will review medical records electronically and perform in-person physical exams on each Veteran, documenting exam findings through a secure web portal.

The focus of this position is solely on conducting Disability Assessments, with no responsibility for treating or prescribing medication. Your average workload will consist of 3-5 assessments per day, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 4pm.

This is an in-person position that requires strong analytical skills, time management abilities, and proficiency in computer software.

Requirements
  • A current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license
  • Experience in performing Independent Medical Assessments
  • Ability to analyze data from medical records and exam findings
  • Skilled in using computers for documentation and record-keeping
