Job Summary

Bridgewater Healthcare Center is seeking a qualified and compassionate Certified Medication Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and state/federal regulations.
  • Monitor and record residents' medication usage, including side effects and interactions.
  • Conduct regular rounds with nurses and physicians to ensure residents' needs are met.
  • Provide personal care and treatment functions for residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of residents' activities, including medication administration and personal care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in medication administration and patient care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program or eligible to enter such a program and graduate within 120 days of employment.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions and understand medication administration procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
