Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative in our Home Hardlines department. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a safe and clean store environment, and assisting in achieving sales and profit goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Create a positive and welcoming experience for customers, answering questions and providing product information to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including labeling, stocking, and inventorying merchandise.
  • Sales and Profit Goals: Assist in achieving sales and profit goals by promoting products, identifying customer needs, and making recommendations.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental and store goals, and participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Math Skills: Basic math skills, including counting, addition, and subtraction, to accurately handle cash and process transactions.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Retail Experience: Previous retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Language Skills: Ability to speak, read, and write in a second language.
