Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support/Workstation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing hardware and software support for desktop and laptop computers, installing and deploying Windows and Apple-based computers, and setting up and maintaining network and telecommunications systems. The role involves troubleshooting LAN, server, and connectivity issues, utilizing a ticketing system when necessary, and performing data migrations, restorations, and remote problem-solving as required.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide hardware and software support for desktop and laptop computers
Install and deploy Windows and Apple-based computers
Set up and maintain network and telecommunications systems
Troubleshoot LAN, server, and connectivity issues
Utilize ticketing system for incident tracking
Re-image computers and perform data migrations and restorations
Conduct remote problem-solving when required
Train end-users on technology usage

Skills & Qualifications:
Working knowledge of hardware components and configurations
Strong software experience, particularly in deploying Windows and Apple computers
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and vendors
Excellent documentation, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
Strong organizational skills and oral communication abilities
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and work with minimal supervision
Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Ability to train end-users on technical systems
