We are looking for a dedicated individual to take on the role of Sinker EDM Specialist. This position entails the setup, programming, and operation of all Makino EDM machines in accordance with MGS standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate all Makino EDM machines to meet MGS quality standards.
- Understand and adhere to quality benchmarks, utilizing inspection tools and reporting as necessary.
- Interpret engineering drawings and employ appropriate measuring instruments to create or adjust tooling, whether new or existing.
- Manage the repair or requisition of replacement parts, tooling, or hardware to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Collaborate with specialized machining departments for specific tasks.
- Provide guidance and training to apprentices when applicable.
- Exhibit excellent attendance and adaptability as work demands fluctuate.
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Completion of a state-recognized tool and die apprenticeship with a journeyman card and/or relevant experience operating Sinker EDM Machines.
- Familiarity with Pro-E is advantageous, though not mandatory.
- Experience with Lock out/Tag out procedures and Forklift operation.
