Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Home Oxygen Equipment Specialist to join our team at St. Peter's Health. As a key member of our home healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering and educating patients on the proper use and safety precautions of oxygen and respiratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and set up oxygen and respiratory equipment in patients' homes, ensuring proper installation and functionality.
  • Provide comprehensive education to patients and caregivers on the safe use and maintenance of equipment.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify equipment needs and make recommendations for optimal care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and address any equipment-related concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment deliveries, patient interactions, and any issues encountered.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in home healthcare or respiratory care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver equipment, with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
