Home Oxygen Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Home Oxygen Equipment Specialist to join our team at St. Peter's Health. As a key member of our home healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering and educating patients on the proper use and safety precautions of oxygen and respiratory equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and set up oxygen and respiratory equipment in patients' homes, ensuring proper installation and functionality.
- Provide comprehensive education to patients and caregivers on the safe use and maintenance of equipment.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify equipment needs and make recommendations for optimal care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient interactions and equipment usage.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in home healthcare or respiratory care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to lift and move equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
