Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee records maintenance, including inventory and office files
  • Manage the approval process for accounts payable, including vouchers, pcard, and purchase requisitions
  • Assist with implementing and interpreting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and university regulations
  • Coordinate financial aspects of program-hosted events and programs, including logistics and vendor negotiations
  • Train and provide input on performance
  • Maintain monthly financial reports, account reconciliation, Pcard management, and other departmental support
  • Perform account reconciliation to balance financial statement transactions with source documents and forecast cash flow and account balances
  • Process and track scholarships for merit and holistic awards
  • Prepare and reconcile grants, foundation reports, and cash balance in accounts
  • Provide faculty support with purchases and travel system guidance, reimbursement requests
  • Perform various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Management, or related field
  • 24 months of office management, financial management, or related experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced computer skills with wide knowledge of business software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Detail-oriented for accuracy of data and information
  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines
