Position Summary:

We are in search of a Senior Manager of Accounting to join our Corporate Accounting Team, responsible for overseeing the monthly accounting close and Corporate Consolidation. This role requires hands-on involvement in the complete cycle of accounting, with a significant emphasis on revenue, alongside active participation in month-end closing processes. The ideal candidate will possess experience in public accounting or external reporting and hold a CPA designation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily Corporate Accounting operations while actively assisting the team throughout the month.
  • Examine all revenue transactions for precision and appropriate recognition, differentiating between gross revenue and net gains from equity method investments.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and payment plan activities.
  • Track daily cash flow and assist accounting personnel in accurately recording transactions throughout the month.
  • Collaborate closely with the Controller to finalize monthly close and corporate consolidation.
  • Assist with treasury-related functions.
  • Facilitate external financial statement audits.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts.

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong understanding of GAAP principles.
  • Ability to compose memos on technical accounting topics such as share-based compensation, internally developed technology, earnings per share, and segments.
  • Experience managing multiple subsidiaries and currencies.
  • Prior experience in consolidation (International Consolidation preferred).
  • CPA certification required.
  • Experience with footnote preparation and disclosures is preferred.
  • A collaborative team player with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Compensation will vary based on location and experience.
