Job Overview

The Operations Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of Camp Fire Alaska's programs and services. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining processes and systems to maximize organizational efficiency and mitigate risks.

As a key member of the Camp Fire Alaska team, the Operations Manager will work collaboratively with others to achieve the organization's goals and objectives. This includes overseeing projects that support agency-wide program operations, managing the Summer Food Service Program, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have expertise in Microsoft Suite and experience in project management.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement processes and systems to maximize organizational efficiency and mitigate risks
  • Oversee projects that support agency-wide program operations
  • Manage the Summer Food Service Program
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Collaborate with others to achieve organizational goals and objectives
  • Develop and maintain databases and reporting systems
  • Support program startups and closeouts
  • Develop a standard operating procedures manual for the position
Requirements
  • Twenty-one (21) years of age required for eligibility to drive agency vehicles
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to visit all program locations as needed
  • Proficient computer skills and experience in using a variety of operating systems, including Microsoft Suite
  • Proven experience in project management
