The Preserve at Jordan Lake is currently seeking dedicated Course Maintenance personnel to enhance our Agronomy team. We have openings for part-time, full-time, and seasonal positions. Full-time employees will be eligible for comprehensive insurance benefits and paid time off. Below is a general outline of the job responsibilities, and we encourage individuals with relevant skills and experience to consider this opportunity.
Compensation: $14.00-$16.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in preparing the golf course for daily operations, including:
- Raking sand bunkers.
- Cutting and trimming greens, tees, fairways, and roughs.
- Watering the roughs as needed.
- Apply growth enhancers and manage disease control.
- Utilize hand mowers or power equipment for grass cutting and weed trimming.
- Plant grass, trees, shrubs, or flowers according to landscaping plans.
- Distribute mulch in designated areas.
- Weed around landscaped features.
- Maintain flexibility in work hours.
- Perform general landscape upkeep using handheld tools.
- Maintain sand bunkers and ensure their quality.
- Operate small machinery for edging, trimming, and mowing tasks.
- Prepare soil beds for sod, seed, and other vegetation.
- Participate in course detailing tasks.
- Assist with the setup procedures for the golf course.
- Operate utility vehicles for transporting materials and clearing debris.
- Conduct general labor and maintenance of golf course equipment.
- Deliver drinking water throughout the course.
- Adhere to safe work practices in all job functions.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:A high school diploma is preferred; or up to one month of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements:The physical demands of this position require the ability to perform essential functions, including full mobility in both upper and lower body, reaching overhead, and working in various positions such as standing, bending, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods. The role may involve lifting, pulling, and pushing materials and equipment, with frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds. Employees will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, chemicals, and mechanical hazards, and may be required to work extended hours during peak seasons.
