Maintenance Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team at Granville Towers in Chapel Hill, NC. As a key member of our property maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various areas of the property, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in completing work orders of various types, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, painting, appliances, and make readies.
- Assist in the preventative maintenance and general repairs of the buildings' exterior and interior systems.
- Assist in maintaining swimming pool(s) and spa(s).
- Be on-call for emergency work orders and lock-outs.
- Assist in snow/ice removal (where applicable).
- Assist in completing Monthly Facilities Plan tasks.
- Assist in completing BOSS daily duties and tasks.
- Assist daily in picking up trash on the grounds.
- Assist other departments with moving furniture, including unloading and storing supplies.
- Attend all mandatory employee staff meetings and company safety meetings/webinars.
- Understand and follow all safety protocols, including understanding MSDS on the use of chemicals.
- Report any observed violations of property rules and regulations to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager and/or General Manager.
- Responsible for understanding and following the ACC key policy.

- Serve as an American Campus representative and liaison in all interactions.

- A High School diploma or GED.
- One to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- EPA Type II or above (HVAC) Certification required.
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) required.
