Clinical Nursing and Quality Supervisor

Job Summary
The Clinic Nursing and Quality Supervisor is an integral member of the clinic leadership team, bringing the professional nursing perspective and expertise to the group. This position is responsible for the oversight of clinical staff performance, coaching, mentoring, developing, and implementing clinical best practices. Additionally, this role oversees clinical quality, ensuring state and federal compliance and providing clinical support patient care services in an efficient and safe manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversight of clinical staff performance, coaching, mentoring, developing, and implementing clinical best practices.
- Ensuring state and federal compliance and providing clinical support patient care services in an efficient and safe manner.
- Providing direct patient care at the top of RN scope of practice, according to the individualized needs of the patient.
- Coordinating patient care activities with other members of the healthcare team in a collegial relationship.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or an Associate Nursing degree with a minimum of 3 years recent RN experience.
- Graduation from an accredited school.
- BSN.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License.
- Washington Registered Nurse License - for locations in Washington.
- Completion of an ONS-approved Chemotherapy course, Maintain certification - Cancer Center Infusion East, Infusion, Transfusion Chemotherapy, Outpatient Transfusion.
- Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Maintain certification - Lactation Postpartum, Postpartum Care Center.
- 3 years RN experience managing complex patients, or successful completion of RN Ambulatory Residency program.
- Experience providing clinical education to clinical support staff within an outpatient/ambulatory care/medical group environment, including medical assistant, nurses, and related clinical positions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an ambulatory setting.
- 3 years demonstrated experience with providing progressive leadership, clinical staff education, competency development and evaluation, staff training, and performance evaluation.
- 3 years experience providing patient education.
