AWS is a leading cloud infrastructure platform that supports numerous enterprises, government entities, and startups across the globe.

Your Role
The AWS Finance team plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive financial support for our multi-billion dollar operations, ensuring we maintain our leadership in customer satisfaction while optimizing costs.

As a member of the Global Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team within AWS Data Center Infrastructure Operations Finance, you will help enhance standardization and efficiency across our global teams. Your responsibilities will include acting as a liaison with central FP&A, representing regional finance teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the planning and forecasting processes for annual operating expenses and capital expenditures on a global scale.
- Serve as the financial expert for budgeting, variance analysis, and driving essential financial metrics.
- Collaborate with both finance and non-finance teams to facilitate forecasting, financial analysis, reporting, and critical financial decisions.
- Establish and uphold internal finance controls for transactions and processes.
- Provide support for ad-hoc analysis and reporting related to data center operations.

Visibility and Impact
This role is highly visible, with your contributions included in month-end reports presented to senior leadership and decision-makers.

Financial Management
The FP&A team is responsible for overseeing the financial rhythms of the business, including the annual operating plan, long-range planning, and regular forecasting processes, while providing analytical support to senior management.

Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
- A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical discipline, or equivalent experience in a quantitative role.
- Preferred: 6+ years of experience in identifying and resolving data discrepancies, delivering accurate financial models, and implementing process improvements.
