Key Responsibilities
  • Client Acquisition and Retention: Develop and maintain relationships with real estate professionals, attorneys, and other industry partners to drive business growth and increase loan volume.
  • Mortgage Origination: Originate, process, and close mortgage loans in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Client Education and Support: Provide expert guidance and support to clients throughout the mortgage process, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their options and the benefits of working with Michigan First Credit Union.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships with real estate companies, attorneys, and other industry partners.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, and identify and mitigate potential risks associated with mortgage lending.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; BA degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in mortgage lending or a related field required; experience in sales and business development a plus.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines; proficiency in financial software and systems.
