Accountant - Hybrid Position

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team at Two Six Technologies. As a hybrid position, you will work mostly remotely but occasionally visit our Arlington, VA headquarters for meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • General Ledger/Month-End Close Process: Prepare journal entries and accruals, account reconciliations with supporting schedules for multiple legal entities, and focus on Fixed Assets, Prepaid Expenses, and Accrued Expenses.
  • Accounts Payable: Process and review vendor invoices, ensure proper charging and adherence to government regulations and company policies, process and review vendor payments, review employee expense reports, manage vendor setups and changes, and support the Ariba Buying and Invoicing Process.
  • Audit Support: Prepare monthly supporting schedules for financial reviews, support annual financial audit, support Government Accounting compliance and audits, and support Indirect Rate Cost Submission.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • 3+ years of experience in Government Contracting accounting.
  • 2+ years of experience with accounting software, preferably Unanet.
  • Experience in processing AP with Purchase Orders.
  • Solid understanding of Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 31.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing.
