This is a Senior Accounting role with a renowned Fortune 1000 company in the thriving North Dallas area.

The Job:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled accounting professional to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for various critical tasks including reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, monthly journal entries, and maintenance of lease contracts in our lease software. You will also serve as the primary contact point with international subsidiaries for lease accounting and interact with domestic and international accounting groups to ensure consistent accounting practices. Additionally, you will assist in preparing consolidated quarterly and annual public filings, review financial statements for accuracy, and perform various general ledger tasks.

The Ideal Candidate:

To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor or Master's degree in accounting or a related field, be CPA-certified or eligible, and have at least two years of experience in Big 4 public accounting or equivalent experience with a publicly traded company. Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook, are essential. You should be able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and demonstrate strong follow-up skills, attention to detail, and accuracy. Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach are also required.
