Position Overview:

The Real Estate Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of properties managed by Pennrose. This position is essential for ensuring precise financial documentation and providing insightful analysis to aid in decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and finalize monthly and quarterly financial reports, ensuring timely distribution within set deadlines.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of all bank accounts linked to properties within the assigned portfolio.
  • Oversee daily cash management activities for each property.
  • Record and process all necessary journal entries to maintain accurate balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  • Compile workpapers for annual audits conducted by external auditors.
  • Assist in the formulation of annual budgets for all properties within the designated portfolio.
  • Maintain and verify debt service schedules, ensuring all payments related to debt service, reserves, and escrows are executed as required.
  • Conduct periodic site evaluations and generate reports in line with company policies.
  • Execute additional accounting tasks as directed.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting is required.
  • A valid driver’s license and an insured vehicle are necessary, along with the ability to travel as needed.
