As a Manufacturing Support Specialist at Travel Tags, your primary responsibility will be to gather all items from the end of the production line and package them according to specific customer or job specifications. This role requires the ability to sustain daily production targets. Furthermore, you will be tasked with ensuring that products and quantities are organized with their corresponding orders.
This position operates on a 2nd shift schedule, from 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with machine operators to fulfill all job specifications
- Engage in departmental meetings concerning production updates
- Aid in upholding quality standards across all areas of operation
- Complete necessary production and quality documentation as required
- Organize workspace with the necessary products to complete tasks efficiently
- Assist in the approval process for each job
- Ensure products are matched with their respective jobs and verify quantities
- Conduct periodic inspections of products to confirm compliance with standards
- Communicate equipment and job performance effectively to operators
- Guarantee that products are organized in accordance with job requirements and quantities
- Clearly report any conformity issues to all relevant parties
Education
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent
- Desired: Associate's degree in a related technical field
- Minimum of 6 months in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to understand numerical sequences and identify discrepancies
- Proficient in numerical tasks
- Maintains consistent and reliable attendance
- Capable of problem-solving effectively
- Follows both written and verbal instructions accurately
- Able to distinguish colors to identify printing errors
- Familiarity with basic Microsoft Excel functions
- Capable of performing a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Engages constructively and effectively with all plant personnel
- Works collaboratively in a team-oriented environment towards shared objectives
- Adapts positively to change and handles additional tasks as assigned
- Exhibits a service-oriented attitude with high energy, positivity, and friendliness
