Job Summary

INVO Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team in Basking Ridge, NJ. As a Speech Therapist, you will work with elementary and preschool ASD students to assess and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to improve speech articulation, language development, fluency, and other communication skills.
  • Collaboration and Consultation: Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure integrated support for the child's development. Provide consultation to teachers and staff on how to support speech and language development in the classroom environment.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain detailed records of student evaluations, therapy sessions, progress notes, and IEP goals. Ensure all documentation complies with state and federal guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Education and Certification: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and valid New Jersey state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. NJ Department of Education Certificate and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required.
  • Experience and Skills: Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting preferred. Strong knowledge of childhood language and speech disorders, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families.
