Position Overview:
The Crescent Hotels Group is seeking a seasoned professional to oversee and enhance hotel operations. This role is ideal for individuals with extensive experience in managing full-service hotels, particularly those with a background as a Director of Operations or General Manager in a limited-service setting with Food & Beverage services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in the daily management of hotel operations, focusing on both operational and financial aspects of the Food & Beverage and Rooms Division.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of department heads, ensuring accountability and adherence to performance standards.
- Guarantee compliance with brand standards through regular quality assurance audits.
- Supervise key operational departments, including Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Front Office.
- Analyze financial reports and performance metrics to assess productivity, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive program enhancements.
- Facilitate operations meetings to ensure staffing and departmental functions align with business objectives.
- Encourage feedback for continuous improvement and develop career progression paths for managers, supervisors, and staff.
- Assist in resolving employee relations issues and guest complaints.
- Review guest survey feedback and collaborate with operations managers to implement strategies for improving guest satisfaction scores.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a leadership role within a full-service hotel, such as Director of Food and Beverage, Assistant General Manager, or General Manager.
- Experience in rooms division management within a full-service hotel environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills to effectively address guest and employee concerns.
- Preferred experience with Hilton/OnQ systems.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
