Assistant Manager Residential Services Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager Residential Supports is a key member of the Residential Services team, responsible for supervising and supporting direct care staff in providing high-quality services to individuals with disabilities. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support direct care staff in providing services to individuals with disabilities
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating staff meetings and training sessions
- Collaborate with Program Managers to resolve client care and agency expectation functions
- Complete agency-required documentation and reports
- Represent management of the organization and maintain a professional image
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of direct care services experience preferred
- Must be bondable and maintain professional conduct and image
- Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally in both verbal and written form
- Must be able to lift weight and assist individuals with transfers
- Must be able to manage time effectively and prioritize competing activities and deadlines
Working Conditions:
This position operates out of the Residential Services Department, under the direction of the Residential Program Manager. The Assistant Manager Residential Supports will have contact with State, County, and outside agencies, as well as parents, significant others, case managers, and disabled individuals.
